http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=115162
>>Starting this fall, Disneyland Resort passholders will be offered the opportunity to fiance their Annual Passports over 12 months. Passholders will make a deposit equal to the cost of a one-day, one-park ticket, then pay the balance over 12 months. Payments will be automatically charged to a credit card placed on file at the time the passport is purchased.
This option will be available to new passholders starting November 4th, 2008; and for renewals on January 1, 2009. The program will be offered only to residents of Southern California, and is available for all four passport types. <<
Good news, glad to see the taking the SeaWorld/LEGOLAND option and bringing it to the DLR.
Interesting to see they are restricting it to JUST SoCal folks, I guess they are afraid that an out-of-towner would just cancel their credit card after their visit.
And that instead of just a straight 12 month breakdown, which SeaWorld and LEGOLAND offer, they want $69 upfront (based on the current prices) and then spread out the remaining amount over 12 months....

Of course .. the ideal situation would be to pay that off as fast as possible .. as the interest in that will pile up. |

I, for one, am not a fan of the financing option. There are too many APers out there already. |

| oc_dean Thu 9/18/2008 9:20p | For instance ;) ........ when people DESCEND on the Fantasmic grounds ... to get the best spots (or even the fireworks at the hub) ... I wouldn't doubt a huge amount of them are APers.
I do agree "The Costco Madness" effect at Disneyland is not a good one. |

Reminds me of Ballys. I couldn't stand the rising crowds anymore, so that ended ... But 24 Hour Fitness (which I'm at now) is not much better. :( |

If this is so, then ALL of CA should also receive benefits, IMHO. |

| FerretAfros Thu 9/18/2008 10:01p | California is also a much much bigger state than Florida, but with population and geography. It takes about 7 hours to drive between the furthest extents of Florida (Panhandle to keys), where you could easily spend that much time driving in California and only get halway across the state. |
