You could live just 3 hours away from DL and STILL not be able to purchase the cheapest AP! Not so in FL.

What I don't understand is they could potentially make MORE money off of people who live out of state because we'll pay for hotel rooms, and food, and souvenirs, while a "local" doesn't need room and board, they just go home at the end of the night.
I mean if I had an annual pass, I would easily be planning trips to DL at least twice a year at 4-5 days each. PLUS I need some place to stay, and some place to eat, etc.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR is all I have to say!

///AP's are like gym memberships. They want more people to buy them and less people to use them.///

Well, not really......Disney wants the holders to show up on property and spend on dining, shopping and movie watching.

>...getting a ding on my statement every month and being reminded of how much it actually costs will take the fun out of it.<

While that's true for you, for me I'd much rather be paying $35 a month than to have to come up with $400 all at once every year.

Yep, me, too, danyoung. :) Well, I wish Darkbeer would change the title of this thread...

The lemon juice is starting to sting my heart. It had gotten its hopes all up and everything!

Why don't us out of staters write letters to someone or somewhere, they could amend the policy.

Remember when DCA had it's own annual pass? LOL.

I'm surprised this isn't tied into the Disney Visa. Seems like a natural cross-promotion.

Wow, you mean I can put my AP on layaway now? NO INTEREST PAYMENTS FOR 12 MONTHS?!

Between this and the free admission on your birthday (like a free grand slam at Denny's), it's soon becoming the ghettoest place on Earth.
