| DyGDisney Thu 10/2/2008 12:30p | That's the funny thing. When I was pg with dd#2 (before I knew she was a girl), I wanted Luke. BUT, my husband worked at Skywalker Ranch for LucasFilm. He was afraid of being teased. |

But an LOL on me as I was reading: >>As a Mom of 3 boys<< >>I too have 3 boys<<
I was thinking, whoa, 3 boys!?!?! Guess how many boys I have? (And 2 girls.) |

I would say look at the most popular names for the past 5 years or so... Then decide do you want popular or original... Funny thing is many classic names are now original...

For example I like the name Aaron but to Doobie that's Erin and he doesn't what to choose a name that can be used by either gender.

| 999HAUNTS Thu 10/2/2008 1:40p | I'm still thinking that the little girl is in that belly hiding behind her brother. I'm just saying.
This really doesn't have anything to do with Disney, but when I first met Doobie I didn't know if that was really his name or not. I always thought he looked like his name would be Zach.
Maybe that's a sign. |

| gottaluvdavillains Thu 10/2/2008 1:41p | Aaron is also a very popular name now.. It seems many popular names start with A and E lately (aaron, austin, adam...)
I would say each of you really sit down with a baby book and each write down your favorite 5 names.. Look at the shortening of them too (like Andrew can be andy or drew) Then compare names... you can work from those 10 fairly easily.. We only had trouble with son #2 He was going to be Alexander(alex) or Andrew(drew) -- while in labor I decided I hated both names with the middle name Joseph. So after being told by the registrar we couldn't leave until he was named - we really looked hard at the books again... He is a Zachary (yes it took to z's to pick a name)
What worked for the other 3 kids - stand on the porch and call out the names... If you really don't like calling out something like... Wilford Moseley... or if it really doesn't feel natural cross it off the list...
You will be calling out that name for years to come...
Good luck...
