131	Mickeymouseclub Wed 11/12/2008 8:00a	Is this still the place to discuss cutbacks? I just read DVCdad trip report and remembered one thing to add. For the past 2 years I always check out the MainStreet Cinema behind Tony's Restaurant and it is always blockaded.Usually the DVCsales force are using it for meetings with potential buyers.As if they do not have any property elsewhere to meet with buyers!!! This is an outrage to me in the beginning I went to TownHall to file a complaint then I would just keep checking and now I do not even bother to walk back their for fear I might lose it! I do not believe it does any good to voice displeasure officially with Disney because it only places your name on a list of people to ignore! Anyway this was the perfect place to see the original black and white MM Cartoons.And the individual Cartoon photo opps with your children pretending to be in the Steamboat Willie cartoon or the 101 Dalmations was priceless.
132	Spirit of 74 Wed 11/12/2008 3:28p	^^This is the 'official' cutback thread, but it seems that line of discussion has moved into many different threads ... and I agree about your point above. I recently wandered in there and they were having some sort of DVC shilling presentation. I am sure that's what Walt intended when he sat on a bench watching his daughters ride the carousel ... just like I am sure the founded of WDW would have loved to see the attraction named in Walt's honor be replaced by a largely empty facility that now hosts timeshare selling seminars during operating hours. Magical.

134	Mickeymouseclub Wed 11/12/2008 9:56p	I also think it is horrible that you can not walk thru the Castle anymore to see all of the mosaics because it is blocked off for the Cast Performers. The magic is gone only to be replaced by a plywood wall.Why did they decide a stage would be perfect in front of the castle if there was nowhere for them to wait to go onstage?
135	jmuboy Thu 11/13/2008 11:02a	I hate that castle stage!!! All the land at the MK and they put a stage there. Please use that stage for special events. Otherwise, build a stage elsewhere for regularly staged events.
