Yes, I understand comment.

I'm trying not to be unhappy about a situation I have no control over.

I have better things to do then complain because Disney isn't steam cleaning Main Street everynight. The unfortunately thing about this thread is that people are actually logging onto LP and more than likely reading this thread thinking that WDW has become an awful place, which is not the case. There is still plenty of Magic around.

Hall of Presidents is just closing for repairs, right?

For some reason I like this thread. It makes you think. Maybe a suit will see this topic and think twice before making another cutback. Hey, we all love disney or we wouldn't be on here. We're all hooked. I think I might like The Spirit's idea of a perfect Disney park. It probably will never happen, but can you imagine how magical it would be?

<<I have better things to do then complain because Disney isn't steam cleaning Main Street everynight.>>

Good. So do I. I don't think I've even mentioned Disney not pressure cleaning Main Street nightly in 2008.

But tell me ... do you like dirty pavement? Gum stuck on sidewalks? Splatters of yesterday's ice cream or vomit or both?

I don't.

I grew up with my spirited Daddy proclaiming proudly that 'the streets are clean enough to eat off' at WDW. He wasn't far off.

Disney was a whole lot less expensive back then and the company was earning much less ... billions in fact.

So for $79 a day, I kinda think Disney should have those walkways pressure cleaned every night.

Hell, I wonder if they even do so at all anymore since I've yet in years of reading and/or posting here had one CM tell me they witnessed such cleaning taking place.

<<The unfortunately thing about this thread is that people are actually logging onto LP and more than likely reading this thread thinking that WDW has become an awful place, which is not the case. There is still plenty of Magic around.>>

If people are actually dimwitted enough (that's as nice as I can put it) to think WDW is an awful place because some of us loyal longtime visitors have a problem with how the place is being run, well ... I don't have anything nice to say about those folks, so I won't.

As to magic at WDW ... well, sure the place still has it. Just not like it did 15-20-25 years ago ... or even 10.

But I'll let you know more after my upcoming visit!

And to silence W! :-)

The show will see considerable retooling and the next Prez will (blessedly) not get a speaking role as that will fall back upon Lincoln. If I know anything about Disney, they'll likely chop another 4-5 minutes out of the show as well ... blaming it on the attention spans.

<<For some reason I like this thread. It makes you think.>>

Thanks. That's actually the highest praise one can get ... on a Disney discussion board, that is!

<<Maybe a suit will see this topic and think twice before making another cutback.>>

Nah. They'll just be concerned that some reporter will pick up on the thread and report about Disney's cutbacks instead of WHAT WILL YOU CELEBRATE?

Or it might give them ideas on what else they can screw with.

<<Hey, we all love disney or we wouldn't be on here. We're all hooked.>>

Really? I thought some of us hated Disney and sat in our New Mexico trailers creating online personas that make them appear to be more important than they are, so they can rip mid-level Disney managers?

I was sooooo wrong.

<<I think I might like The Spirit's idea of a perfect Disney park. It probably will never happen, but can you imagine how magical it would be? >>

Uhm ... EPCOT Center in the 1980s was pretty damn close.

And even now, DL is too!

Spirit, as servant of Master Gracey and working late nights, i can tell you without a doubt that we still pressure clean. On occasion, i will walk through the park once ive finished and i HAVE seen them clean the Mansion area, Frontierland, and Fantasyland.

REALLY! I don't think anyone here is not a big fan in some way with WALTS' DISNEY.

I don't know enough about the mid level managers but the ones sitting on the board collecting my high priced ticket purchase money are the ones I want to talk to.

Are there Trailers in NewMexico?

Any new arrivals are blessed with that DISNEY DENIAL, in a world of magic and have been sprinkled with Tinkerbelles Pixie Dust. They probably won't beleive any of this discussion. By the way, this is not the only thread that is talking along these lines. You are not the only ones that are seeing things regress at our Disney Parks

If you lot actually make the right decision this time.
