This topic is for Discussion of the headline: Headlines: WFTV: Ailing Woman Sues Disney for Kicking Her Off Ride
A Central Florida woman is suing Disney claiming she had a prescription for chronic back pain that involved regularly riding Tower of Terror and that Disney has revoked that privilege.

I understand she has medical issues and I don't think Disney should prevent someone from riding the ride as much as they want. However if she was skipping the line then I think putting a limit on the use of her medical card is the right thing to do and if she wants to ride more than 4 times she should have to stand in line with everyone else.

Oh, there was way more than that. She insisted on "front of the line" service over and over and over. She was continuiously riding the ride. When Disney limited the number of times she could use the "special" privilege she got abusive to the CM's and commenced cursing at them. That is when Disney escourted her out of the park.

This topic was covered extensively on a different Disney Board.

Besides that I don't think Disney is licensed to fill Prescriptions. That would leave them in a very precarious liability situation to say the very least.

Goofy, you're cheating on us with another board?! ;-)

This is such an odd story.

Again a perfect example of folks "sense of entitlement". I'm in the medical field and for the life of me I can't imagine this.

If this is the new treatment for releasing adhesions I think Disney should ask for insurance reimbursement. Then I'm sure they wouldn't mind sending her to the front of the line as many times as she would like.

You know anything is possible but this whole thing smells a little(or a lot). People will sue over anything, after all lawsuits are no longer a way to right a wrong they are a way to make a living for all to many.

I'm pretty sure in the end Disney will cave. After all as I heard a comedian say once "a jury is made up of 12 people not smart enough to get out of jury duty".;) BTW that's a JOKE so don't take it too serious.

Can you tell us which one? Or is that some sort of secret?

I'd like to share my thoughts on this topic, but I'm busy develping an at-home version of ToT to help release adhesions. I already have a name for it. It's going to be called a "swing".
