Which resort on the grounds that you have stayed at is your favorite? Least favorite? Where would you like to stay but haven't. Which resort would you never stay at?

Favorite stayed at: Port Orleans French Quarter.

Least Favorite-Carribean Beach, don't get me wrong I like the place but it can't compare to Port Orleans.

Where I'd like to stay is: Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge and Polynesian.

Where I wouldn't stay: Any of the value resorts.

Current favorite still Old Key West...

previous to that was the Polynesian followed by the Grand Floridian. --

Did not really care for the Contemporary other than the location....not my styling - too'cold' for my tastes.

Have not stayed at any others....

Port Orleans FQ
(I agree with you vbdad55 on the Contemporary....stayed there once, too cold for our taste)

Least favorite All Star Music. We had a suite, which was great, but too crowded!!

I stayed at the Contemporary when I was 7 I thought it was cool because of the monorail going through. The Grand Floridan always seems to stuffy to me.

Hmmmmm. I love the design and themes of Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge, great decore, dining options and awesome pools (WL is in a better location though).

I like the Contemporary to a degree, but with the exception of the Monorail, it feels too much like I am at work there.

I think my fav though is Port Orleans Riverside, having stayed on Honeymoon, it has a deluxe feel at a lesser cost, and it is awesome, as it feels like staying in Disneyland's Haunted Mansion!

My least fav is Caribbean Beach resort. Despite nice location, the theme does little for me.

For those I have yet to stay at, I am keen on trying the Polynesian due to location and a very cool theme (even if dated, that's part of the appeal).

I could never see myself staying at the All Stars, but if the Kids really wanted to and we are in commando mode, maybe. But I doubt that will ever happen.

Having just got back and visited all resorts now except for POP, I have strong opinions.

Will NEVER stay at CBR again. Even if free.

Favorites:

Poly
CR (I love the starkness)
GFH
OKW
POR and FQ
AKL
WL
Wilderness campgrouns and cabins

Unliked:
CSR
All-Stars (it was too, I dunno. Not me, although we liked that of all the resorts, the people here were most happy in their Disneyness and window displays)

And the CBR can disappear for all I care.

We've only stayed at the Contemporary, which was right after Thanksgiving, 2006 for a week. We really liked it. While I can understand why others feel it wasn't very "warm", my wife really wanted to stay where the Monorail came through, plus it was obviously very short walking distance from the park. We took care of the "not very warm" or "inviting" aspect of it by saying it fit a Tomorrowland theme just fine, so it then all fit in. For such a large hotel, we were disappointed in the lobby, and the dining choices, save for the California Grill, left something to be desired.

On the plus side, at least when we were there, the gift shops on the second level (think it was the second) were nice. We found the Mickey Holiday Roast coffee there, the only place we've been able to find it between DL and WDW. Cast members at DL profess to not even knowing what it is. We also liked the bar at California Grill, and the rooms were somewhat futuristic and appointed nicely, making for that Tomorrowland thing.

We toured the Grand Floridian (had dinner at Narcoossee's, next to Roy Disney). My wife wants to stay there next time.

I felt very comfortable at the Wilderness Lodge, especially at Christmas time, but with just bus service available, waited a looong time to leave there.

Loved the bar at the Polynesian. Don't think I could stay there, too many wild kids running around (we're old and cranky and kidless).
