>> Worse, when I was there recently, CMs were clueless on how to load/unload properly so folks were either missing the 'dramatic' ending ... or having it and then sitting there like the ride had gone 101 because there were backups at dispatch ... either way it was very bad show <<

That's because of trouble makers
complaining about their sunglasses getting stuck in the netting just so they can ride back to back! :-)

i agree with post 7-8-9. ive been to wdw a year ago almost (12/3/07-12/10/07) and went on dinosaur. i kno that obviously its like indi jones but everytime i go to disneyland and in the loop of temp closed rides, indiana clioses once a day at least and i was wondering since they are alike, if dino has problems but i think post 9 or was it 10 that helped me out is there anything else

Maybe I am wrong...I get the idea that Indie and this attraction share the same track but not maybe the same effects experienced...Is that the possible problem with Indie? Dino is rather short on any effects beyond lighting...

They do both have the exact same track layout, but very different effects and scenery along the way. Earlier this year, Indy had problems with the programming of the vehicles, which was causing major delays every day. They gradually took each one off the line and updated their software to get them up to speed (since they had been running on the same programming since the mid 90's). I feel like that has helped them keep it open as much as possible, but there are still occasional break-downs. To my knowledge, all the the break down are caused by vehicle malfunctions, not effects that aren't working (as I've seen just about every effect not working at some point).

Nope, we are not related. Spirit is the sophisticated, dapper, very cosmopolitan type. I'm just a Texas RedNeck.

Back on subject. Is Dino really like Indy? My daughter & her husband rode Indy for (they claim) 6 hours straight, couldn't get enough of it. I sat next to him on Dino last summer, he didn't look too good. Except for 1 daughter, the 12 of us looked pretty rough.
