It's the managers from places like The Gap and Sears and other retailers who homogenized Main Street into a mall that sells all the same stuff. After all, a magic store or penny arcade or movie theater aren't sufficient lines of business. |

I call this Corporate Rot, Committees and Boards seldom contain visionaries, and when they do they are simply veto'ed by other members.
Everything is about the bottom line, this quarter. Very few companies this day seem to believe in goodwill. Used to be a time when companies would take a small hit now, realizing you would come back since they treated you fairly. Now it seems like how can we cut, staff, quality, substance, hours etc. While raising prices. I completely blame this on vbdad55 of course :P
It seems to be though in Disney's defence that people complain when they clone (either comparing or saying why put identical rides/shows in multiple parks. At least with Countdown (Refuse to call it Dinosaur) and Indy they're at least dressed differently. I just wish we had some guy like Wally that can stand up to the Roy's. (That said I'll take Roy over a modern day bean counter any day, sometimes I think he intentionally got himself busy so Wally could run free at times) |

The story always seemed to me to be a rip off of "The Land Before Time" animated movie |

| brotherdave Sun 11/16/2008 7:49p | The animation in Dinosaur during the first 5-10 minutes is absolutely stunning. It's even better that not even a word is spoken, it seemed more like a realistic 'snap shot' of life during the Jurassic age. I think if the entire movie were like those first few minutes, we might all be singing the praises of such a groundbreaking motion picture. Sadly, the animals began to talk and it turned into a CGI 'Land Before Time'. What a pity. It started out so well... |
