Part of that was to have been an industrial park with actual manufacturing and research facilities. I believe they where also to offer showcases to the public showing the manufacturing process, etc.
Given that my favorite EPCOT attraction, "Living With The Land" comes closest to that concept I think it could be very interesting. I find Test Track interesting from that stand point too, although I don't like the que there as much. I think it would be fun to see how different things are made or developed. What about an attraction where you are ON the assembly line of some product being made? |

It's a shame, but sadly not many people feel the same way as you and I (with the Land and Test Track being two of my prefered attractions at WDW - along with the American Adventure of course). |

I just don't think it would be a responsible move on Disneys part to increase the overall size of the resort at this time with a 5th gate. They already have 4 parks 2 water parks, and a large downtown area to maintain, plus a never ending expansion DVC resorts as well as a large number of onsite hotels. This doesn't even take in a hugh transportation fleet as well as other entertainment, and sporting venues. All could really use some help with maintainence, and some special attention to cleanliness, and show. As well as expansion within the existing parks. However, it is always interesting speculating on a 5th park, and what would it be like. |

When MGM first opened, it was wall to wall people, you couldn't do anything and it became really frustrating. It needed to be a bigger park. Of course if 2/3 of the rooms are empty, no crowds. |

| carribean queen Fri 11/21/2008 5:29p | No they're not listening. They also know that all these hot crabby parents will buy thier kids anything to shut them up. Then 2 weeks later throw it all away since its made like crap and broke immediatly. Not that I know this from experience or anything, and yet did I learn my lesson? NOPE! |
