Deep Breath, all the way to your toes. A long walk, a bubble bath or long hot shower. A glass of wine or a box of chocolates. A good scream or a shoulder to cry on. A touch of Pixie Dust or a Blasting Rock and Roll CD.
I don't know exactly what you are going through but tough love is hard. Take care of yourself first. |

Oh yeah, and ya know, this is really answer to a prayer. I asked for strength to be able to turn down my son and daughter-in-law if they ask for more help.(inevitable)
They have decided to avoid us. (They do not want to hear what we have to say.) But I have gotten so angry at the way they are treating us *after ALL we have done* (said with a mix of sarcasm and a roll of the eyes) that I do not think I will have a problem telling them no way.
The biggest pain is they are keeping me from my granddaughter. She is a big part of my life. |
