You did mention it at dinner when we went but I don't think it had escalated to this degree. I had hoped that it all worked out. Keep the faith, the stiff upper lip, and all that tough love going. You're stronger than you think. And you have each other to lean on too. You guys are always in our hearts. Hugs to you both!!! |

Wed 12/3/2008 4:02p | Thought I'd give you all a brief update. Total crisis has been averted for the time being.
My daughter-in-law had taken the baby to San Diego for Thanksgiving. They had been so secretive that I was just sure she was going to stay.
Yesterday was my son's birthday so we went over to the house with some presents and Dana and the baby were there. There rent seems to be covered so maybe she got some money from her family.
My son said he has filled out several applications and they are coming for Thursday night dinner and planning on spending Christmas with us.
So I feel better for now but with this kid you have to keep your guard up cuz he has been breaking my heart for about 20 years now. |

Even if they don't care about us; why did they do this to her?!?

This sounds almost to the "t" what my friend has going on, except she has Two sons who are in similar situations.
I'm glad that your son has some applications in and that you'll get to see your family on Christmas.
