The Pinocchio v. Pan/Toad lines is a bit unfair, though--recall that Pinocchio/Snow White each double the capacity of both Toad and Pan.

Also, as you (generally) enter Fantasyland, Pan/Toad are both on the right hand side.

I do think they are more interesting Attractions, but the weakest, by far, is Snow White. Her grotto could suffice, if a really great Beauty & the Beast Attraction were developed. But nothing like Pooh or Monsters in execution, please!!!!!!!!!

^^^ Again, though, I only throw those points out there for the conversation. Toad and Pan are obviously more well-like, in spite of capacity issues.

And, one last random thought, speaking of the link to that "other site"--the TDS tree in American Waterfront has got to be the ugliest Christmas tree on the planet. Even worse than Animal Kingdom.

Yah, I really like how it sort of curves inward, instead of making a perfect triangle (or even curving out a little like a real tree would!). The one in TDL is pretty bad too, but for some reason it doesn't look as bad with all the buildings around it. The TDS one is just out there in its full glory for everybody to see. It's a shame too, since the rest of the park is so pretty...

>> Mickey Mouse Revue draws only a few guests for each show. In Disneyland it would draw almost no one. <<

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

That's assuming everyone in the United States who visits a Disney theme park has FOR SURE visited WDW.

Wasn't one of the points of building a Disney park on the east side of the US .. was to get those "easterners" who don't tend to vacation to the west side?

The same would apply with the opposite.

I'm sure you can talk to many people living west of the Mississippi, and tell you they don't even know what Mickey Mouse Revue is/was ... and it would be a totally brand new show to them.

As it would be for me.

For a while ...
It would be a completely brand new show to millions of people.

And that was whole crux with GE pulling Carousel of Progress out of California .. and giving it a whole new audience to enjoy (on the east coast).

"It would be a completely brand new show to millions of people."

That may be true, but that doesn't mean that any of them will want to see it. From the Youtube videos of it I've seen, it's pretty out of date. The AA's have simple movements, and many aren't up to modern standards for the parks (or even Disney Store displays from the early 90's for that matter). Yah, it would be fun to see once, but I don't think it's good enough to warrant any other attraction in DL to leave.
All times are Pacific Time (US)
