Well Mr X, Road Trip called me 'bunky' maybe 3 months back when I warned about the frightening shortage of water in a few US regions---especially in the southwest. LOL!!
I say places like lake Powell and Mead are at devestating low levels but RT has all but promised me that help is on the way since the Rocky Mnts. had a nice snowpack recently. Hmmmm???, we'll see about that.

| RoadTrip Fri 12/5/2008 10:17a | Bunky... a term of endearment (more or less) from 'Happy Days'.
:-)
P.S. We got all the water anyone would ever need up here in Lake Superior. No one gets it though unless they agree with me about stuff.

| Kar2oonMan Fri 12/5/2008 10:46a | Bucko was the phrase Richie Cunningham used whenever he had to attempt to act tough. He said it to the Fonz. But only once. |

Wasn't there a character in Kevin Smith's flick 'Chasing Amy' called Bunky? I'm thinking Jason Lee's character. |

| RoadTrip Fri 12/5/2008 11:23a | Bucko... jeez... I can't even get my funny names right. I guess I better stick with Chicken Little, Foxy Loxy, Goosey Loosey, Turkey Lurkey and the gang.

| barboy Fri 12/5/2008 11:33a | RT when you called me Bunky I knew you were just having a good laugh(and I thought it was well timed too) and I envisioned it meaning:
```a young, eager, naive/unsophistcated, doubting peon male```
I don't know why I conjured that up but that is what I envisioned LOL!! |
| brerroadrunner Fri 12/5/2008 8:01p | Years ago DH and I were having a heated arguement, neither one giving an inch, and I stood up defiantly and stuttered "BUCKO", which instantly broke the stand off and we both burst out laughing. Arguement over! Had to be there. |
| Spirit of 74 Fri 12/5/2008 11:31p | Just read three days of posts on this thread and ... I got nothing new.
I'm standing by everything I posted for the apologists here ... I'm not justifying or explaining my pal's decision to buy his kid (who's like a little brother to me) a car (even if he got screwed on the deal and could have had a Camry for a grand more) or his Christmas spending (he has more money for the holiday, but the wife planned on using her AmEx) ... not back tracking on the fact that a great many Americans are very much suffering whether or not select individuals who post on a Disney discussion board are doing peachy ... but thanks for keeping the thread going. I'll check in on it Sunday or Monday!
