I look forward to seeing your delightful, thought-provoking cards you design for Jim in Merced every year. How's this year's coming along?

Unfortunately, the economy being what it is this year, our company opted to not send Christmas cards this year.

We were bummed. As working with Kar2oonMan is always a fun process.

In the end, we just didn't feel we could swing the added expense. And it's not Kar2oonMan's exorbitant fees or anything like that, but we have a large client list, and when cards and postage and gift baskets are all added in, we just decided not to.

I thought I'd post a link to our Christmas cards from the past.

Yeah, we talked about it a while back, but with the economy what it is, we decided to let the annual Christmas card go this year.

But it waved goodbye, saying "Don't you cry! I'll be back again some day!"

And then a big gust of wind blew it into a mud puddle. Tragic.

Probably too late for this year, but next year perhaps Doobie could contract with Toony to produce an LP Christmas Card.

All of us LP'ers could then order cards through LP so Doobie could cover his costs and even make a profit. If Doobie was concerned about inadequate sales, he could take pre-orders before actually making the deal.

Among other things I just love the name. The Toony Doobie Holiday Card.
