Topic: this weekend in the park?

1	SGE_lvr Thu 12/4/2008 6:17p	Can anyone predict what the first weekend of december would be like as far as crowded... im going this saturday and i know that its pretty darn packed usually on saturdays in general, but how would it be since its the holiday month.
2	sean-tyler Fri 12/5/2008 4:48p	It will be busy. The Candlelight procession will be Saturday and Sunday nights. They get good turn-outs for this event.
3	SGE_lvr Fri 12/5/2008 6:15p	crap!!! o well at least im still going wat ever the capacity of the park, how bout DCA
4	FerretAfros Fri 12/5/2008 6:22p	DCA shouldn't be too bad. When DL gets really crowded around midday, I often find it's nice to go over to DCA to hide from the crowds a bit until a little later when things seem more managable. To my knowledge, I don't think DCA has ever closed due to capacity concerns. Even if DCA is full, the walkways are generally larger and easier to navigate with a lot of people around.
5	milelongbar Mon 12/8/2008 7:25p	I was there on the 6th and it was the most crowded I have ever seen. Walking on Main Street was impossible starting late afternoon so people were dirvered in the back behind the street and let out at the Fire Station. It was nuts. The Candlelight Procession really brings in tons of people.
