Okay, so I have a rare chance to spend a whole day with my daughter this coming Tuesday, just me and her, and I was planning something fun.

My first idea (obviously) was to stroll down the street with her to Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea (her choice), BUT...*gasp* it looks like heavy rain.

So, given the fact that we can do Disney anytime, I'm inclined to come up with another idea for us, and I noticed that Tokyo seems fairly bereft of things to do for kids indoors.

All I can come up with is an Aquarium (been there done that), or a few Children's Museums I've heard about in Tokyo which are still interesting possibilities.

BUT, I'm wondering if anyone else has some good ideas about a fun day in bad weather...

Thoughts?

How good are your crafting or imagination skills ?
There are several great websites full of great craft projects. Just google Crafts for kids. Of course how fun this is will depend on if your daughter is into crafting.
You could always grab some bedsheets and drape them over the backs of chairs and whatnot and build a fort and pretend you are on a grand adventure. This used to amuse me for hours and hours when I was a kid.
Have a fun day.

Good ideas, Meg.

I was thinking more of something we could go out and do, but that's not bad either. :)

For going out I would choose a Children Museaum. My kids love them (3yr and 8yrs). I would plan on a early morning outing, go out for lunch with your daughter choosing on where to go, then heading home for some down time, maybe getting some junk food and ending with a movie.

I like Megs idea too. Familyfun.com has some great kid and dad friendly crafts.

Um...

Well, er.

Yeah, okay. I'll do it for her. :p

Where is it exactly, SD?
