| Labuda Wed 12/10/2008 3:42a | That's right, boys and girls. Last night I saw with my own eyes SNOW. In Austin, TX. In early December.
FREAKY!
But oooooo it was pretty watching it fall! Luckily, none of it stuck. :) |

| DAR Wed 12/10/2008 8:30a | Some areas here got 1 inch others got 12 inches, I live close to the airport and we measured around 4 inches. We call that late November to March, sometimes April and once in awhile even May. |

| Pixie Glitter Wed 12/10/2008 3:24p | Oops, meant to answer davewasbaloo's question. I'm not sure about southern Texas, but here in the northern part of the state where I am, we get snow pretty much every year. Generally it's a light snowfall, and usually only once or twice per year. But every so often we get lucky and get two or three inches of snow that sticks around for a day or two. |

| vbdad55 Wed 12/10/2008 3:52p | I am happy for you Ann....it must be magical to like seeing the snow fall ( it indeed can be very pretty) - however for people like DAR and I, we get snow in December that is still on the ground in March -- allI can think of is- snowblower /horrific traffic etc... except on Christmas Eve when I just gotta have some |

| avromark Wed 12/10/2008 4:09p | vb isn't that why when we were growing up a lot of the halloween costumes were made of plastic? :)
I've found an answer to the snowblower problem. Buy a personal plow (Manual and lower profile). It saves a lot of time on the blowing. :)
I'm just guessing though our Dell expert here (And I'm now a fan of the XPS she'll be happy to hear) probably also enjoyed watching people drive in the first snow fall of the year. It always amazes me how many people seem to forget how to drive in the snow from year to year :)
Now is the snow still there? and if it is please tell us is it still white? |

Avro I am sure she said it didn't stick, so none on the ground..
I missed our only snow so far this year, I was in Jamaica, but would love some Christmas week, you know once I've finished work and wouldn't have to drive in it LOL! |
