I do think it should be moved to the old Cosmic waves location. There is plenty of room there and still allow for plenty of walking apace around it.
More space could be added if the small ugly pre-queue for HISTA is removed. A new small queue could then be added on the south side of the astro orbitor facing space mountain.
To tell you the truth i wold not mind a second spinner built ontop of the old platform. This would add another simple family attraction which would increase capacity to the land. It would also give a slight older crowd the thrill of spinning once again up high over tomorrowland. |

Actually, I usually go with my two young boys. I can't tell you the last time we went on either ride though. |

Are they? (honest question) How is it measured?
I know there are always queues, but that could be more a function of the low rider capacity than the ride's popularity.
Families will wait 45 minutes to get on Peter Pan, but would they wait 45 minutes to get on the Astro Orbiter?
I know mine wouldn't. |

I could live with that, especially if they did something more than just plopping it down there on the ground. Maybe a raised platform (1-story instead of 2) with some sort of water feature in/around/under it to keep the spirit of the Cosmic Waves. |

| Mr F Sun 12/14/2008 9:32p | They are probably just looking at the space to get ideas for setting up a stage for a special event or something like that, nothing to do with Imagineering. I've seen Imagineers in the park and they NEVER wear suits. |

Yes, but there are plenty of other diversions for children at DLR . Off the top my head I can think of at least two other very similar spinning rides on the property. The Astro Orbiter simply isn't needed. |

Relocation sure, adding a cheesy dark ride sure, but take it out and no replacement. That just sets the precedent further for removal without replacement. Oh and a Frie stand is not a recplacement for a ride :) Sorry iluv. (Although I appreciate good employees, we'll spare your cart if you still work in said position although by now I have a feeling if you still read this your in your chosen profession by now). |
