I don't mean to be rude, but seriously, if you want to ride in a spinning rocket that badly there's a very nice one over at DCA. I'm not advocating the removal of Astro Orbiter, but doing so would have little impact on the enjoyment of the park for visitors. There are plenty of other similar things at DLR to do. |

Got it. Interestingly, I grew up in the Bay Area too, and I've always loved the parks, but I seem to lack the sacred reverence for DL that some people have. It's clear that we fans like Disneyland for different reasons. I tend to be less nostalgic about it than most people here I guess. |

When Disney makes missteps (Wands over Spaceship Earth, much of DCA, Rocket Rods) it is something that takes years, sometimes decades to fix!
But for me, nothing is really sacred. Replace Sleeping Beauty Castle for all I care. I just want to see the place get better and better. |

Sorry .......
.. but I hope not!
That attraction belongs in one place .. and one place only: On it's former "1967" perch.
Anything else is a compromise.
And Tomorrowland has had one too many compromises in it's history as it is! |

| oc_dean Tue 12/16/2008 3:39p | Up high where it use to.......
.. and the attraction's purpose is to get a sense of flight.
You don't get "space age" flight only 10 feet above ground!!
It's not NineteenHundredland .. it's called Tomorrowland. |
