| daffy1 Tue 11/6/2001 7:43p | Until Jim get backs, I have some Muppet news. As seen on Dark Horzion.com, The Muppets Prequel: VideoBusiness reports that "Kermit's Swamp Years: The Real Story Behind Kermit the Frog's Early Years" is the title for the new muppets movie which will be a prequel to the first one. Columbia Tristar hopes this will be the first in a potential franchise of Kermit movies (with Steve Whitmore voicing Kermit) when it rolls out the first one next Summer. The five week production began last month just outside Orlando, Florida and is utilising high-definition video rather than 35mm film. Thanks to 'Clint' P.S. This is being filmed at the Disney Studio at WDW.

Jim's writings can still be found at the Orlando Weekly http://www.orlandoweekly.com/n ews/eyedrive/, AmusementPark.com and DigitalMedia FX.com. As always we'll link to Jim's Disney-related articles in our headlines wherever they are and his LaughingPlace.com archives will remain.

There is a news item regarding this in the site's headlines on the front page.

| BoyRaisin2 Wed 11/21/2001 2:19p | OK, so Jim left. But, what about the last part of the "When You Wish Upon A Frog" series? I've been waiting for two months, and he was doing a good job at it. Will someone else write it or what?
PS EM.TV has said it won't sell Henson 'til next year. So what will the last part even say? |

| CuriosWolfSo Thu 11/22/2001 10:28p | What about Jim Hill's planned article of the Disney animated Villains? I was waiting to read of what he had to say about the Wolf from "Peter and the Wolf" since that Wolf is one of Disney's most scarest villain ever and yet he tends to be overlooked by other writers when they talked about Disney villains. |

| ToonKirby Fri 11/23/2001 7:21p | That wasn't Jim Hill's planned article, it was mine for Toon Talk.
As for when, sometime next year. |

| CuriosWolfSo Fri 11/23/2001 9:42p | Oops,Heh heh,Sorry.I'm looking forward to see it, ToonKirby. Anyway about Jim Hill, I forget to mentioned to say in my last post...I'm going miss the guy but how he can leave without finishing "When You wish Upon a Frog" article's last part? I don't like to be left hanging and I'm sure the others felt the same way, too. Will somebody else finish that acticle? |
