Many of us are on the Disneyland fringe of fanaticism. We are devotees of the first order, committed for live in a loving (and sometimes pain-filled) relationship that many of our dearest relations can never understand.

Please state a fact or two that most amply demonstrates how you are on the Disneyland fringe.

I am debating between these:

(a) I have a favorite bathroom in the old Administration Building;

(b) I had a favorite serving line at Casa Mexicana;

(c) One of the reasons I was sad that Skyway closed is that, for many years, I had planned to propose to my future spouse in a yellow Skyway bucket.

How are you on the fringe?

I owe my career to It's a Small World.

I named my children to have Disneyland links in their first and second names.

We honeymooned in Disneyland 34 years ago and the magic has held a special spot in our hearts. Eating breakfast at Riverbelle Terrace (as we did 34 years ago) is a must, our memories block out the plastic plates :)

When our 4 year old grandson "Phones" and gets our answering machine message instead of a "live" person he says "Grandma and Grandpa are at Disneyland" :)

We honeymooned in WDW

We had to make sure our daughter's 1st haircut was on Main St even though it was at least 3000 miles away.

Dude, the first hair cut thing is awesome!

I'm going to say that you could stick me in there blind folded and I would still be able to navigate it with ease ;)

and I may or may not have memorized the Dapper Dans show schedule... ;)

1) I proposed to my wife in the Golden Horseshoe

2) I have an annual pass, even though I should have saved that money

3) We are thinking about naming a child Walt.

Earlier this year, I planted some marigolds in some backyard posts. When the fragrance of the flowers first wafted up, I thought 'that smells like the planter of flowers that used to be in front of Tomorrowland.'

My dreams...

As a child, they were of the mysterious and as-yet-unrevealed Haunted Mansion.

I have recurring dreams of the ACTUAL Disneyland, plus various MUTANT Disneylands where the rides are placed in completely cockeyed locations (i.e., Small World is just inside the turnstiles on the right and the Monorail station is adjacent to the Haunted Mansion.

One of my mutant Disneyland scenarios begins in a no-name department store where guests board iasw-style boats and cruise past different departments with doors on them that open ala "Let's Make A Deal" to reveal the products for sale - usually women's clothing on mannequins.

And, of course, I had a very vivid dream where I met Walt Disney and we sat and talked at a picnic bench set up in the hub, adjacent to the Plaza Inn.

For the record... I dream in color - always. *L*

Oh my gosh! I also dream of 'mutant' Disneylands -- where things aren't where they are in reality.

Trippy.

I had a very detailed involved dream about going on a 'dark ride' of some sort -- kind of a 'Peter Pan's Flight' ride system, but very complicated.

And I wonder why I wake up exhausted.

^^Cool! Do you ever dream that you're just walking and rushing around the park or through queues, but you never manage to actually get ON a ride? I'm ALWAYS exhausted after those!

Or... Walking through attractions that in reality are ride-throughs?

A lot of the attractions in my dreams are cross-breeds, too. Like a train ride with an Alice in Wonderland theme. *LOL*
