| davewasbaloo Fri 12/19/2008 2:21p | Thanks guys. I just received the latest copy yesterday, and though I have had little time to read it, i have managed to get about 1/2 way through. I really enjoyed the TDL Hotel article especially. Very good angle, and very informative. I know it is the newest offering, but I would love to see more articles like this. I also adore the It's a Small World costumes in the TDL parade.
No doubt I will have more feedback as I progress (no comment on Jay Rasulo and current direction :-)
Keep up the good work guys. |

The Interview with Jay was interesting and while a bit out dated regarding WDW, it was still interesting to see his vision and insight in the buisness and its future.
If I may request a future article how about a bit of coverage on Zed the new Cirque du Soleil that is exclusive to the TDR. |

| davewasbaloo Sun 12/21/2008 3:49p | I managed to finish it today. Rhett's article was very interesting and at the same time depressing. It seems the family style of business is a thing of the past, and in telling the story of the Predoza's, it was a real reminder.
Also, the Steven Schwartz article gave me an even further appreciation of some of my preferred Animated feature scores. |

Thanks for the comments, Dave. We haven't deliberately featured more Disney Theatrical material. In fact we haven't had a substantial piece on a DTP show since the Mary Poppins cover piece. We also decided not to feature The Little Mermaid so when The Lion King and High School Musical On Stage opportunities presented themselves we decided to run with them. We have an exceptional working relationship with DTP on both sides of the Atlantic and we are delighted to showcase their product wherever possible. |

Thanks! I enjoyed working on that piece. We hope to have additional hotel stories in the future - and not just new product like the Grand Hawaiian but also looking back on the existing resorts. Once we have concluded our musical legacy series (we have had Menken, Schwartz and Collins so far and are working on the likes of Sir Tim Rice for future interviews) I would like to feature some of the architects that have created Eisner's entertainment architecture legacy like Robert A.M. Stern, Peter Dominick and Michael Graves. Hopefully we can make those work. |

Cheers, Malin. The interview was conducted immediately after the grand opening of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel back in July and we opted to hold back on the piece until this issue. We did tweak the interview for updates but felt that the WDW information was still accurate - bookings were and still are holding up. |

Malin - we will be featuring Zed in the summer issue. It has been on our radar for the past few months but we couldn't get the co-ordination together with CdS. Hopefully it will happen in the spring. |
