2	FerretAfros Fri 1/9/2009 9:33a	That's too bad that the Trash Can wasn't at the Jo Bro performance for New Year's, but at least everybody brought stuff to help him have a good concert, had he decided to show up. It's also good to know that ucla won its bowl game this year. Perhaps if they had done a better job with some of those earlier games in the Rose Bowl then that statistic would actually mean something. I do kind of feel bad for you second favorite team, but we really did give them a chance in the second half, when we basically gave up, and they apparently didn't really want to win. In the podcast, you referred to the crazy old man who directed the All American College Band in DL and the USC marching band. While he has moved on from the band at DL (replaced by his hand-picked successor), he is still at USC. He's approaching 70 (I think he will be celebrating his 70th birthday this year at a Disney park), and almost 40 years at USC. Everybody's assuming when he hits 40 ye'll retire, but until then, the silly antics of Dr. Arthur C Bartner are on display for everyone to see.
