I was reading another thread and they mentioned the CMs having a bitch-fest. after work. I know EVERY job has these venting sessions, and I know EVERY job deals with annoying people.

As a concerned guest, Ex-APer, future visitor, and overall caring consumer... I wonder what actions annoy cast members? Perhaps I have been guilty of abusing secret CM codes...(although I rarely talk to anyone outside my travel party). I just want to make sure I am always good guest when I visit! Please share!

Oh and people who show up for these merchandise events, brave the long lines, and then complain when they don't get what they want. There was some drama at the Tiki Room one I believe, with one nut going all out on cast members when there was a mix up with the inventory.

Probably those guests who don't want to follow the flow set up during parade or firework times -
Same for the fantasmic area.

Gottaluv got that one right for me lol. I can understand it sometimes, but it seems like guests don't realize we set up these routes for their convenience. usually...

Also, guests that get upset at us for thinking about their safety. Just yesterday I had a guest yell at me because I told them that their kid could not climb on the rocks in front of Tomorrowland.

I try not to get upset with guests, and even when I do I reallly try not to complain about it. I usually understand why a guest is being difficult or angry or uncooperative. But these two are the ones that really get to me.

So Pin Traders bug CM's. Do you mean the hard core types? Occasionally my kids will trade a pin with a CM, like once or twice per trip. DH and I don't do pins, though there are some super cute ones I like. But it seems that some adults are super hard-core about pin trading.

I would think it would be the hard core traders and not a child that wants to trade with a CM.

People who don't keep control of their children -

Oh the rock climbing - we were in DCA a while ago - we were near taste pilot and two kids climbed on the big rock next to the train engine. The parents kept asking them to come down and the kids were just laughing - the CM we alerted to it was not amused at all - when we left the kids were still up there with their parents pleading for them to get down and security called.

yeah i can contest to the hardcore pin traders who try to tell you how your not following the rules, or being yelled at by a parent when you ask a child not to do something for their safety. that one happened to me before. Or parents trying to get their young children on a ride they are obviously not tall enough for and then complaining at you and your lead for it.

<<I wonder what actions annoy cast members? >>

I don't know but there's about 12 threads about guests in theme park restaurants...you might be able to find something there. ;-)
