At Mansion we often just give the cute little kids whatever pin they want and don't even worry about the trade cause there's plenty more back at the Lead desk to restock the lanyard with.
But the adult pin traders.... uh..... the emotions from CM's who deal with them generally range from annoying to creepy to unclean to obnoxious. The pin traders on the ECV's are the most, um, memorable.
I only wish pin trading had an age limit on it so that you only could focus on the kids and not worry about adults. The packs of roving women are the worst.. "OH CAROL! HE'S GOT A LANYARD! CAROL, GET CONNIE! PINS! SO MR. MAN IN THE GREEN TUXEDO, DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPER SECRET DVC DOUBLE WHAMMIES THEY RELEASED FROM THE MOROCCO PAVILION IN '04?! ARE YOU HIDING THEM FROM US? WHAT DID YOU JUST TRADE WITH THAT LITTLE GIRL FOR, DVC DOUBLE WHAMMIES? CONNIE, GET OVER HERE!"

I have a very small collection of 10-20 pins mostly that I have traded on an ad-hoc basis if I see a CM with a pin I like. I have no traders as such, I usually buy a pin in order to swap.
I don't bug the CM's do I?!!! |

Care to translate this into layman's terms for those of us who haven't a clue what this whole thing is all about?
ECV's? "worry about the trade"? Lanyard?
Help! |

soooo... some of the pins are pretty pricey, could I buy a cheap pin and trade you for an expensive pin? and then go find those crazy pin traders and scalp the pin in the bathroom for even more money? |
