| lesmisfan Mon 1/12/2009 2:58p | i get annoyed with those parents too! many a time i have seen parents trying to force their children on a ride while they are crying and sreaming or look like they are about to pass out from hypervanilating, i don't think i spelled that right but anyway, we are told us cast members on attractions if there is a kid to scared to go on, even if the parent says they are fine, we are not allowed to let the child ride for their safety. I always try to come the kids down and what not, sometimes it works and others it doesn't. |

| RockyMtnMinnie Mon 1/12/2009 3:06p | I felt horrible the first time my son rode Splash Mtn. He was fine until we sat in the log and then he went hysterical. The CM told us that he really wasn't allowed to let us ride with DS crying which I was in complete agreement with. I was about to stand up and get him off the ride and they pushed the button and launched the ride. I thought DS was going to have a stroke his heart was beating so fast and I felt like the candidate for the worst mother of the year award.
Of course as soon as we got off the ride, he asked if we could ride it again. |

NO it wasn't an expensive pin. It was the MT Rushmore one and they had just visted there. I didn't end up buying for him again either? |

| teddibubbles Tue 1/13/2009 12:36a | teddi needs to go sit in the bad corner! I admit it! I am the pin groupie siting there every year.
I myself don't understand my obsesion (sp?) but out of being rasied with Disney. this is the first real THING. out of my pile of disney my family buys me. that I LIKE!
My hubby and I talk about it. and I think for (me anyway) its sort of going for the kill. like a hunter!
when I find THE PIN! like.... I started this bubble pin collecting. but disney put out the > SET< at Limited Edition to 1000 yet the last dumb pin TO THE SET! was a Limited Edition to 500 it as took me over two years of bugging everyone! and looking everywhere to complete this set.
now .. if you wonder WHY I sat there. THAT is why!
hey. in my everyday life. I am disabled and live out in the desert. DREAMING of being able to get down to the parks ..to.. trade pins!
that IS my happy place! and my happy entertainment! you like music? .. I like pins.. you like rides?.. been there ALL my life.. I like pins!..
I grab food.. take in things with hubby.. but I like tradeing last years stuff. and seeing what exiting new Limited pin I can find this time! here is my keepers. http://i23.photobucket.com/alb.../013.jpg

I like your sparkly gold 50th mouse ears. |

I would agree with this, up to a point. I do think some CM's attempt to enforce THE RULES when there's a clear case of an exception to them. During the crunch after the early Fantasmic! show, and you're being directed out through Adventureland, you should be able to tell the CM that "my family is right there, 10 feet behind you - can I go join them?" without being yelled at to keep moving, and have to go out of Adventureland and all the way around through Frontierland to join the family that was just 10 feet away. A little discretion and judgement on the part of CM's is always in order!

| Walter Elias Wed 1/14/2009 8:04a | This one probably doesn't annoy CM's, but it annoys me: People on their cell phones while visiting an attraction. I was going through the treehouse with my kids, it was really busy, and a woman followed one step behind us the whole way talking on her cell phone. I thought, "why are you even going through the treehouse? You do realize that THIS is the attraction? This isn't the line to something better." |

| danyoung Wed 1/14/2009 8:55a | Same thing goes for cell phone usage EVERYWHERE! It's just rude for me to have to wait in line at the grocery store while someone who should be digging money out of her purse is yapping away about NOTHING! Very irritating!!!
