There's far more wrong with DL's Pooh than it being misplaced. |

I never imagined they could squeeze a major E ticket like Indy into Adventureland. When I first heard about it I had no idea how they could fit it in.
The Festival of Foods/Big Thunder Ranch/former Cacade Peak area is huge, with possible expansion room beyond the berm, as was proposed for Discovery Bay.
The Fantasyland Theater may not be there forever and occupies a large piece of real estate that could possibly be combined with the Festival of Foods area.
In Tomorrowland Innoventions/Rocket Redds/former Space Place/HISTA/Starcade is another huge area ripe for a rethink.
I really don't see DL as being space constrained at all. Where there's a good idea they'll find room for it. |

| FerretAfros Fri 1/16/2009 12:59p | I just realized yesterday that Disneyland is complete, and it's been that way since the beginning of the 50th. The last spire on the castle was covered in gold, showing that Disneyland is now complete, and the world is completely devoid of any imagination. It's sad that we've finally reached that point... : ) |

| BrnardM Fri 1/16/2009 2:10p | No need to dispair, the 'unpainted spire' was just a rumor. Before the 50th, the spike was covered in a bronze patine, but from the ground it looked like it had not been painted at all. Thus an urban legend was born. |

That's true. Still, that is just one attraction, which does not represent long term (financial) growth. From a practical standpoint there hasn't been any room left at Disneyland for significant expansion for several decades now. Thus, the emphasis on a acquiring more land for development outside of DL's borders. |
