Okay, so you just won $200,000,000 in the lottery...you decide to plan out a dream vacation at Disneyland. What would be your absolutely perfect itinerary? What amount of time would you spend? Where would you stay? What extravagant "extras" would you go for?

No rules, really. Just keep it based in Anaheim if possible (I'm assuming everyone would make other luxurious plans in California, but for the purpose of this fun exercise just describe your Disney Anaheim plans).

For me, I would book at least a couple of weeks or perhaps even more. I would see about getting the Disney Dream Suite for the duration if possible (open access to ALL Lpers who offer proper credentials during the day...the password would be "Gideon" :p)..if not I'd stay in the nicest suite at the Grand Floridian.

I would dine at all the best places, and once or twice I would buy out the whole restaurant for lavish parties (did I mention that I'd definitely be flying friends, family and select LPers to this event!? :p).

I'd also enjoy tons of quiet time just chillin in my suites or around the resorts.

I would also probably rent out the parks a few times during my stay (if possible) for late night parties and I would include each and every person I met and chatted with during the trip to partake in the fun, and I would also invite any friendly cast members I met along the way to be there too.

So, what would YOU do?

In Anaheim I would stay for 1 week at the Grand Californian. I would pay for rooms and passes for my dad, brother and closest friends to join us. Over the week we would be able to casually take in every attraction and event at the parks, while really enjoying the magic. I would get everyone preferred seating for Fantasmic. We would dine at Napa Rose, Blue Bayou, Jazz Kitchen and Rain Forest Cafe.

I would try to get a tour of the farm where they keep the horses that pull the main street cars.

Now gotta play that lotto this week... :)

I would buy my parents' home, remodel it extensively, have M.L. Bigelow & Co. build and install a pipe organ in it, and either be an AP or CM (preferred) the rest of my life. That's much better than any vacation, in my mind.

If I had all the money in the world, I think I would sponsor an attraction or ten. I definately have a couple ideas of what I'd like to see, so it would be neat to get to see it taken to completion. If they accept corporations sponsoring attractions and getting their name slapped on the side, why not an individual? Especially if I didn't want my name on it (and I don't know why I would)...

If I won $200 Million, I would still be smart with it...

First off, as that before taxes?

If so, then the amount, if it is an annuity is only worth about $60 million after taxes as a lump sum.

I would buy some property, mostly to live in, though some as investment and tax strategies (There are some good benefits for rental properties).

I would get a couple of nice cars, but not outrageous, I don't want to worry about it if I park it in a shopping center.

Upgrade my and Lisa's computers and other electronic entertainment media for our new house.

Also some nice furniture, including those chairs that are massage chairs that sell for $2,500.

Hire a maid service.

Then invest most of the rest, maybe a business that I would personally run. Heck, maybe buy one of the hotels in Anaheim.

Plan for some trips for the two of us, but since we live in SoCal, no Anaheim for us. Hawaii, Europe, etc.

As for our trips to Disneyland and other SoCal parks, maybe more overnight stays with a hotel stay. But we don't need the fanciest Hotel room in the area. Just a nice room in a 3 or 4 star hotel.

No matter how much money you have, you still have to be smart with it.

Oh yes, I would also spend some serious time researching charities and donate money to those I agree with, and have proven that the vast majority is spent on the need, NOT the overhead or fundraising. And I would donate a large percentage of the money, partially as a tax strategy, but mainly for the reason it would be spent better giving someone medical care than on an overpriced hotel suite.

No it's not before taxes.

$200 million clear, after taxes.

Know what, Darkbeer..make it $20 billion.

$20 billion, cool, more money to buy more hotels and business for me to run, and more to donate to charity.

Still would stand by my basic comments.

More overnight stays at a nice hotel room, maybe an import beer instead of a domestic one, but still not going to go crazy booking the most expensive anything.

I might look into hiring a DLR/Knott's/USH/Six Flags Tour Guide to avoid waits in lines and for backstage access (Heck, if I have $20 Billion, I would be famous ;)

I'll play! :) I'd stay either in the Dream Suite or the best suite at the Grand. Heck, throw in a night in the Pirate Suite at the DLH too. I'd rent out the park for an evening for LPers and family and friends.

And while everyone was there I'd have the big wedding I dreamed of but couldn't afford to renew my vows. :) And this would be my dress! http://honeymoons.about.com/od...es_5.htm

We would have some excellent photo shoots too! For some reason I'm picturing hubby and I in our fancy clothes hanging out with Harold in the Matterhorn!

If I had that Much money, I always wanted A Mini Verson of the POTC in My house, I would build that, Buy a Hotel near Disneyland, so I can spend Lots of time at DLR.... Also probally rent Disney for a couple nights for all the LP'ers...

I would stay 2 weeks at the DLR and take my time. Currently we rush through the experience in 4 or 5 days and I would love more time to take it all in.

I would stay at the Grand Californian in a room overlooking Grizzly Peak. Whatever the best room is that they have.

Pretty much everything else would stay the same, as I generally spend an insane amount of money on souveniers and food, with no regard for a budget. What can I say? I don't take vacations if I have to worry about the money running out!
