I love this guys take on "UP" based on the recent promotion of the film where now some financial analyst is playing film critic in this article..Apparently he doesn't get out much to the movies...Check out the link below...

"Pixar's First Dud?"

I think they've been saying that since "Bug's Life", haven't they? ;p

(I definitely remember hearing it about Monster's Inc., and also the Incredibles as well...which both turned out to be very fine films)

LOL, spring must be near. The time of year when people everywhere asks "Will THIS finally be the film that is a dud for Pixar?"

I remember similar concerns for just about every Pixar film after Toy Story made it big. The trailers look dull. Elements might be too scary for little kids. It's not for girls. It's not for boys. Rats in a kitchen?

And one by one, the movies go on to be hits ranging from really big to really, really, REALLY big.

Sooner or later, Pixar will produce a flop. But if so, it's because they attempt to not play it safe, to try new things with every movie.

Up looks pretty amazing to me. The two characters are already appealing, and I am curious where their adventure will take them.

I would like to go on record for all of LP to know:

UP is going to be huge. I know it will be one of my favorite movies of all time.

Trust me. I cried when I read the synopsis of the movie last summer (which I do not recommend doing...it gives so much of the plot away). It makes me want to cry right now just thinking of it.

UP will only describe Pixar's profits after this movie is released. xoxo
