Tue 4/14/2009 3:17p | Not many people choose mice for their characters. The humans are much more popular (though there were a lot of lions for a while). Using such a small character makes for some interesting challenges.
I actually think Dawson's gone back to London, as he hasn't posted in a very long time. Making me the only GMD character on the board.
And I use Toby as an addendum to Basil, which is allowed with pets.
Though, if someone wanted Toby, I would cheerfully give him up.

They are so very, very cool up close and personal.
Basil's magnifying glass really magnifies! And you can read the list in his hand:
"Tools...check...gears...double check." The handwriting looks exactly like the movie.
I bought it from an online gallery called World Wide Art. They have a deal that you get a $25 coupon when you subscribe to their newsletter. I was able to subscribe, then turn around and use the coupon on my order. Plus they gave free shipping.
I saw the figurines on ebay for less, but of course, that was only the minimum bid.
