The DMIL is giving us a couple nights stay at DLR. We have our annual passes, so that is taken care of.
I was wondering with an 20 month old DD, should we stay at the HoJo's with the water play area or the PPH OR DLH instead.
I am thinking to have a play option at the hotel might be nice. but at 20 months, she is probably going to be too small.
Oh and we are doing this at the end of the month.
Oh and How is the discount with a Delux AP.

Ok, a few points.

The distance to the Main Entrance Plaza is the same from PPH or HoJo's, and DLH is only slightly better, depending on which tower you are assigned.

HoJo's has something called Speedy's Sprayground, which is designed for little ones. Some water jets and a very shallow pool. Disney does not offer something similar.

HoJo's doesn't have room service or Bell Hops, while PPH and DLH do offer.

HoJo's offers much lower prices for basic dining with Mimi's Cafe, as compared to the Disney Hotel Restaurants.

HoJo's offers a 20% discount to AP holders.

Also, HoJo's doesn't charge a Resort fee, and offers free parking and Internet access.

Disney does charge a daily resort fee in addition to its room rate ($11.50 per day).

I am a big HoJo's fan, great service, nice rooms, nice grounds, and a much lower price than what Disney charges.

I vote for HoJo's.

Thank You DarkBeer. You are always the best source of information. I totally wouldn't have even known about or thought to ask for a Laughing pLace discount or an AP discount.
Thanks.

Is the dining with HoJo's at Mimi's something you have to book ahead of time?

how does it work? is it like vouchers or discounts?

Here is what we do when staying at HoJo's. We stop at Mimi's on the way to the park and pick up a to go menu.

When we decide we are leaving the park we phone in our Mimi order and pick it up on the way to our room.

Good food at good prices that is better than most of the places at the DLR, IMHO.

Thank you Darkbeer for all the advice..
Next time, I will have to remember to ask not to be in the second story in the old buildings, the lovely arched windows, allowed in SOOO much light that the 20 month old woke up at 6:15.
But the beds were very nice.
