Those floats are burning rubber down main in a downpour. The Peter Pan float nearly rear ended the villains float. I hope soon heads rolled after that. They were lucky the floats didn't stall or crash.

What do you mean, you hope heads rolled?

There was a downpour, and some floats got stuck on the street. There's nothing you can do in that situation but get it over with (obviously what they did).

Heads rolled? Because they sent floats out in a tropical storm. Could have damaged costumes ,caused short circuits ,etc. They knew Fay was coming and still started the parade.

Happens all the time. If they think they can make it, they send it out.

No biggie. Trust me.

They do their best to send the parade out if possible. Sometimes the weather sneaks up on them (if it was pouring at starting time, of course it'd have been cancelled). They do their best.

Maybe the costumes and floats needed to be cleaned!

I thought that was hilarious! It was the Disneyapolis Speedway on Main Street! Look at the Cast Members in the background around a minute into the clip....funny. Thanks for sharing.

Just how do the float drivers see out of those things? Are there video cameras on the floats and the drivers look at a monitor?

the parade had started prior to the storm, some floats ended up being held back because of it
