1	BlueOhanaTerror Tue 5/19/2009 5:06p	...complications from Diabetes. Apparently he was waiting on a kidney transplant. Very sad. Wayne was in his early 60's. The studio just released an internal announcement about his passing. Didn't see anything about it here. Figured folks would want to pay him tribute.

6	Pixie Glitter Tue 5/19/2009 5:19p	So sad. Meeting him and his wife at the big LP meet in 2004 was a very special moment for me. I can still clearly remember the gasp that went through the crowd of LPers when they first starting talking in the Mickey and Minnie voices and we all realized who they were.

8	TheRedhead Tue 5/19/2009 5:31p	Wow. Very very sad. I've been going on a Disney Treasures bender lately, and I JUST watched the interview he did with Leonard Maltin, along with his wife. Two of the cutest people you'll ever see on a DVD extra. He had a really great quote about how he had asked Jimmy Macdonald (the guy who voiced Mickey after Walt and before Wayne) for some advice about doing the voice. Jimmy said something like, "Remember, you're just filling in for the boss." Again, so sad.
