12	hopemax Wed 6/3/2009 10:07a	I was telling DH, I don't understand how you go into a meeting and pitch "super agent guinea pigs" and it gets approved. Maybe they just have giant wheels. One wheel has a list of common childhood pets (dog, cat, hamster, guinea pig, etc), another wheel is their job (action hero, spy, pirate, etc) and a third wheel has their problem (lost, fired, missing human) and they spin them and what comes up, that's the story.

15	mele Wed 6/3/2009 11:21a	SPOILER.... We loved the movie except for one part. We really disliked it when the dogs started flying the planes. All three of us thought that was really lame and wished it wasn't in the movie.

19	Dabob2 Wed 6/3/2009 12:20p	SPOILERS BELOW!! I actually liked how they didn't even bother explaining how they did that. Same with the cooking and picking out just the right '98 Bordeaux (loved Muntz' perfunctory "oh yes, yes, excellent choice.") I just figured if Muntz was genuis enough to invent collars that translated dog thoughts into words, he could teach them those skills. You go with it or you don't. (And yet, mele, I DID have that momentary pause at that point, so I know where you're coming from... i.e. "dogs flying planes? Come ON!" Then I thought about the above and just went with it.)
20	Jim in Merced CA Wed 6/3/2009 12:56p	The dog fighters (good one, Dug) was a bit 'out there' I'll admit. The biggest part of the plot that pulled me out of the movie was was when Mr. Fredrickson finally meets Charles Muntz -- and Muntz didn't seem old enough. If Fredrickson is, what 75 -- Muntz would have to be 95, right? I thought perhaps they were going to have Muntz hooked up to some Fountain of Youth type of machine that kept him young or something. Anyone else have trouble with the age there?
