<I didn't mean villains who sing a song, I meant ones who have, essentially, their own theme song.>
There aren't TOO many, but offhand I can think of Cruella De Vil, Gaston, and Ratigan. |

Kronk has his own theme music. He hums it himself.
When I heard the Muntz song, I decided on the spot to buy the CD.

I loved the story, loved the dogs ect ect, but I left wondering if I could ever look at a live action 2-d movie again, with out feeling ripped off in some way. I wonder if this what people thought when movies went from B&W to color? |

| RockyMtnMinnie Sun 6/14/2009 12:53p | I just saw it again today. Picked up a few thing that I didn't catch the first time through. I'm off to get the CD as the song when Carl takes off to rescue everyone made me smile so big I got tears in my eyes.
One little thing I picked up on the second time around BIG SPOILER: Ellie finished the scrapbook when she was in the hospital shortly before Carl showed up with the baloon. She was looking through the finished scrapbook and the tape and supples are on the table next to her. I think I'm going to cry again... |

Also... -Captain Hook: The Elegant Captain Hook -Si & Am: We Are Siamese (The Siamese Cat Song) -Madam Mim: The Magnificent Marvelous Mad Madam Mim -Prince John: The Phony King of England
:)
And yet the Villain soundtracks failed to include the latter two songs, amongst others...grrrr |

| alexbook Mon 6/15/2009 2:46p | >>From the beginning it seemed the intention was that dogs are much smarter than we think they are (or at least they are in the world of this movie) and it's a communication issue.<<
That was how I took the dogs. There's an old idea in movies that some animals, cats and dogs especially, are as smart as humans but just unable to speak. These dogs are actually a bit less intelligent than the animals in "Bolt" or "101 Dalmatians" or "Lady and the Tramp," in that they're so easily distracted. |
