| oredisneyfan Tue 6/9/2009 10:26a | good to know all positive about priceline. I was thinking it was the best option too, just a little afraid of booking not knowing the hotel, but it sounds like if you book 3-31/2 stars its all good. as soon as I firm up my dates will try this. I will have a car also so maybe I wont need a shuttle, just thought the idea of less driving after driving down from oregon sounded better. thanks for all the help. |

This is my first choice of close hotels these days. Contrary to the previous poster, it is in no way shabby, although it does not have inside hallways. The rooms are small, but nicely outfitted with fridge and microwave. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the front gate (you enter where the busses enter). I've found that I can almost always get a great rate, and they have free wireless internet, too.

About Days Inn - it is past HoJo's on Manchester, not a bad walk for older kids, but depending on the length of the day in the park, might be a bit too far for younger children. Last time we were there they were in the process of remodeling, so I can't comment on the rooms since then. |

These are the Hyatt's, Hilton's, Doubletree's, etc.
They changed their Orange County star system a few months back.

When using Hotwire there is an option to buy insurance. I think it is 7 or 9$, if you pay for this you are allowed to cancel for certain reasons. Hotwire cancellation/change policy -> http://www.hotwire.com/helpcen...nges.jsp
Priceline cancellation/change policy ->http://tickets.priceline.com/c...plf=pcln |
