| oredisneyfan Fri 6/12/2009 1:18p | okay...I am very cheap, i tried the 2 star option for $18, needles to say it was not accepted......oh well what did I have to lose? I will try again in a day or so and up the $$. ( I saw someone on here got exteded stay for 18 a night)
In the mean time I have found the La Qinta on Clementine for $71 a night. I think the walk is about 20 min but free parking. has anyone stayed here? I may book this as a back up so I can play the priceline game with out worry of having no hotel.
I agree that closer to the dates will have better luck of getting accepted with a low bid.

I got $50/night rates at the Hyatt, the Hilton and the Crowne which are all great, clean and safe properties with transportation to the park. I'd go 3 - 3 1/2 stars and try starting at $40. If you are okay with a motel (most of which are fine in that area) I'd start at $28/night. good luck! |

| yekcim Mon 6/15/2009 8:32p | Does anyone know whether I will need the 2009 entertainment book/card or the 2010 entertainment book or card for a December 2009 entertainment-book-rate-stay. I went online to buy a 2009 book and happened to notice some text on their website saying that most of the coupons in the entertainment book expire in November. (before my stay!) I'm guessing this must mean that the 2010 book becomes active in late 2009 but I was hoping for some sort of confirmation. Any entertainment book experts out there? :) Thanks, in advance!!

| ibob Mon 6/15/2009 8:49p | The 2009 book (card) expire November 1,2009 ... if you go to the Entertaiment.com site they are offering ... get a FREE 2009 Book if you reserve (purchase now) a 2010 Book ... ^^^ hope that makes sense ... |

| yekcim Mon 6/15/2009 9:08p | Thanks, ibob! I did see that offer but it looks like to get the "free" 2009 book you have to sign up for their future annual books. (Unless you remember to cancel your new subscription at the right time.) Since I am ordering the California book and I live on the east coast, I don't want to subscribe to receive the CA book for future years.
Since it seems that I am going to need the 2010 book, I am thinking of waiting to see if I can just purchase 2010 book without having to subscribe. Maybe they always make you subscribe, though.
I wish we had a Howard Johnson's hotel in my local area so there would be a HOJO coupon in my local book. Then I wouldn't mind subscribing! |

| ibob Mon 6/15/2009 9:26p | You are Welcome ^^^ and did you know that it is the Entertainment Card itself (that comes with the coupon book) that you would use to get the Entertainment Rate at Anaheim Hojo Hotel ... not a coupon out of the book ... so any City in the USA / Entertainment Book will work for HOJO ANAHEIM stay (if it is available) ... |

| yekcim Tue 6/16/2009 5:55a | Oh, I didn't know that part. That is great news! I do have the ET rate as I have already booked my room with the ET rate (for most of the nights). I will just order my local book then. Thanks for the information, ibob!
Since I will just need the card, do you happen to know if the card also expires in November. I am assuming it would expire with all of the coupons. If that is true then it is still the 2010 one I will need for my December 2009 stay.
Thanks, again! Happy day to you! |
