Topic: Is there something going on in the park?

1	oredisneyfan Sun 6/14/2009 10:47a	why are the hotel rates for pph higher the first week of august? I was looking at a flexible rate calendar on last minute travel and noticed the rates were lower for the week before and the week after so I checked the anaheim convetion center's schedule for that week and it looked like it was one of the slower weeks for them. Just wondering if there is a special event that week, of course it is my birthday so that is when I want to go. I figure summer crowds are at a max in august but will it be extra crowded? I didnt notice if the other DLR hotels were higher that week but am not staying on property this time anyway. I have noticed that in the last few days rates at some of the two star hotels have gone up $10+ for this week. trying to decide if I should book now or wait for a last minute deal via priceline???
2	Mickeymouseclub Sun 6/14/2009 11:51a	It could be the last week of summer vacation for the West Coast and families have already booked their Hotels. Does anybody have Back to school semester return dates?
