What would you say would be the best place for a birthday dinner?
It can be at either park or DTD.

I'm sure you will get a lot of opinions. I am guessing that you are speaking of a dinner for an adult. If it were my birthday, and I could go anywhere, I would choose Napa Rose and sit at the counter with my husband.

If I were in a bigger group of adults, I would go to Catal, and request a balcony table at around an hour before the fireworks. I am not sure if you can see Magical, but we were able to see the previous show from there which was very lovely for my mother's birthday.

For a birthday with kids (and I might get shot at for suggesting this, but I'll duck) I would actually do the Celebration Barbeque, assuming the price isn't too limiting for the number in your party. They had great character interaction, but it was a leisurely meal and we had a lot of time to be with our group, enjoy each other and enjoy the great food. I think it would be a fun place for a party, the entertainment people are looking for something to interact with each group about, and I'm sure they would do a wonderful job for a child's birthday.

I also really enjoy eating at the Wine Country Trattoria in DCA, and if you make your reservation for the correct time, you can watch the parade if you request and are able to obtain an outdoor table.

I ate at the Blue Bayou on my birthday a couple years ago. They treated me real nice and we had fun.
