Topic: Del Sol Inn- Stay Away!!

I agree that You should write to some of the other places mentioned, even copying and pasting what you wrote here should be fine. The manager should be tossed out on his rear. We've had indifferent service before at other hotels but never faced anyone like him. <<<also creeped out by the yellow stains on the pillows. Don't they watch Oprah?:) sheesh. Considering going back to taking my own pillow when I travel.
12	juicer Fri 6/19/2009 8:24a	Yikes! What a sad story (and creepy too!) - I once found a dirty sock in our bed at the Park Vue :( And the manager was just awfull too. Please write a letter or email to the local health department.

14	LVBelle Fri 6/19/2009 8:58a	Whew, I had reservations for Del Sol for next month. Thankfully I switched over to Hojo's! :) Looks like I dodged a bullet there!
15	juicer Fri 6/19/2009 9:47a	"Can I get that back please?" It was a couple years ago before they remodeled. I guess they have new management now - I will never go back - However, there are many people on LP who really like the place.
16	Jenasweetemotion Fri 6/19/2009 10:20p	That sounds awful. I wanted to say that on their web-site they are listed as a Disney good neighbor, so they either are or have just copy and pasted it. That was somewhere that I had thought about going to but I will definitely not, I would contact the Health Department. I could not imagine having to deal with something like this. Hope you still enjoyed Disneyland though!!

18	joeysmommy Sun 6/21/2009 9:56p	I think a dirty sock is right up there in yuck value with finding someone else's hair in the sheets. I guess I should have known when I called the front desk at Del Sol to ask about an AP discount for the suite I booked he said I was "pushing it" since I already got a low rate of $103. They matched the price I got at Alpine Inn. Kinda rude.. We almost stayed at the Alpine Inn but after reading the parking lot (short cut) is temporarily closed due to construction I then booked the Eden Roc Inn thru hotels.com. I happened to call the Jolly Roger and the guy at the front desk told me he used to work at the Eden Roc. He said the motel was really run down and the A/C units often break. After last year's 100 degree heat wave I wasn't taking any chances. Even tho $60 per night for 3 queen beds is a good deal I wonder if they also have a bug problem.
