Question: When did the new HD projectors start being used? I thought it was earlier this year. I'm going to DL next weekend and I wonder if the images will be better than they were in March - and they weren't bad then.

I have always loved this show and really appreciated the full video.

What a difference without the dragon. Too bad they couldn't bring the old one back until the new one got fixed.

Hard to believe it has been around as long as it has - it still amazes people and I love to hear the cheers at the end of every show.

Very interesting. But one of the facts is simply wrong, although I don't have the correct info to dispute it -

>•The audio surrounding the “Fantasmic!” spectators is created by four speakers on Tom Sawyer Island and three on the mainland.<

I know there are far more speakers than this involved with distributing sound over this large area. Anyone have the real facts?

Not complete facts, but there are visible speakers all over the viewing area--some as parts of lampposts, others that line the front of the viewing area in the cargo boxes that line the waterfront. There are many dozens--probably several hundred--all told.

...so, how's that dragon doing? Has anyone seen it?
