has anyone done this? I saw you could get a special fast pass for one of the "free on your birthday" options.

It says for certain attractions. anyone know what attractions/how many that includes. also is it just for the birthday person or for your whole party?

curious to know if anyone has tried this?

When I called earlier today with some questions about DL one of the CM's said the fastpasses were for the birthday person and 5 of his/her guests. I didn't ask about which attractions it could be used on though.

The birthday person receives 3 "Donald's Favorites" fastpasses. Each good for one ride on EITHER:
Space, Indy, Roger, Splash, Screamin, Soarin or TOT.

AND 3 "Daisy's Favorites" each good for one ride on EITHER:
Thunder, Autopia, Buzz, MM or GRR.

There is a bit of a line at City Hall so be prepared for that. I wasn't with DH and he had to have my AP to get fastpasses for me. It makes sense as DH could have easily said we had 5 in his party and used the fastpasses himself. So either take the rest of your party with you or have them close by.

Up until the day of his birthday DH was going to ask for the gift card but when we saw the crowds that day he decided that it would be nice to not have to do the fastpass run. It was also the only sunny day of our trip and Splash was mobbed. It was a nice treat for him :)

Evidently there used to be a restriction that you had to get these by 11am. That is no longer in effect as according the all the CM's in City Hall, they aren't the popular choice and there are plenty each day.

They are paper fastpasses by the way, not the plastic lanyard thing. We used them later in the evening on Buzz and the CM handed them back to DH and said "Happy Birthday" you can take another spin or have a souvenier (sp?) :)

For anyone who doesn't already know this :) This is only an option if you already have admission into the Park.

I chose the birthday fastpasses for my birthday trip in March and it worked great for us. We were able to hit all of our favorites without worrying about coordinating the fastpass times. There was no line in City Hall when we went, but I think we arrived right at opening on an early entry day. You DO need to have your entire party with you. We had a total of five in our party, and everyone received the fastpasses. The City Hall CM does some paperwork and then sends you to the Guided Tour Gardens to select your actual fastpasses. Have fun!

thanks for the info, sounds really good. we will be a party of 4 or 5. so that is good to know. I am taking my mom for her first ever trip for my birthday and since it is august I am expecting crowds, so fast pass would be great to make it more relaxing for her first time.
