DTD is nice for the music, but smelling the kettle corn is torture.
We request a room near room #451 for the stairway shortcut to DTD. Can't get back in that way but great for a quick morning race to the park. |

| amazedncal2 Thu 6/25/2009 6:51a | We are going for the international meet :) We typically go around mid December when our youngest had her college break or our "kids" could join us. This year I'm pretty sure it will just be us. |

We would leave our curtains open and some back at night to the pier all lit up, and it was really beautiful. But, I do agree that you are in the park most of the time so it isn't always worth it. I'd recommend a theme park view at least once! |

If your on the 5th floor ask not to be in rooms 5020-5024. The Craftsman's Club is right above and you can hear the chairs moving around. It's not fun if your coming back for a nap. If you can get floors 2-4 your set with the best location. |

| kari12177 Wed 7/22/2009 1:03p | I only had 1 problem at GCH, we came to our room to change after being on Splash and I had wet bills spread out on the bed and we left to go to DL again. I put our DO NOT disturb out. When the park closed we came back and the door wasnt shut, i pushed on it and there was a paper and mints, and our pillows done up. I did not like the fact that the door wasnt shut and someone could have came in and robbed us. I had the sign out and it was still out when we came back. |

Last Oct I had the theme park view overlooking the pool and the PPFunWheel But the construction completely blocked everything. So now I am wondering about the view. The new hotel extension is massive. So does anybody have recent info.??Thanks. |

| debtee Wed 7/22/2009 5:42p | We have stayed the the GCH several times and had the GRR view, the Paradise Pier view and DTD view. Each trip has been wonderful for different reasons and they have all been at Christmas time but I have to say for me the GRR was my fav view. I loved sitting on the balcony and people watching and the water from GRR was very peaceful and calming in the background.
I want to come back again. Have fun whatever view you choose! |
