Where you can get some grocery items for about as much as you'd pay for a night at the Grand.

| SuzieQ Thu 7/30/2009 12:14p | I've stayed in rooms all up and down the DTD side of the hotel, on each of the floors, and we've always had a good view of the fireworks.
You can hear the DTD music from the entire side of the hotel, too. |

And closer to the parks too. I'm so excited. It's barely 2 weeks away now. I just got the hidden Mickey book in the mail and realized I ordered the wdw version instead of the dl one ;(. So now I must reorder. |

In the evenings, there is usually a musician of some sort down below. We usually bring a bottle of wine to enjoy on the balcony while we listen. Once you close the doors, you don't even hear them.
If you go out the back door of the Grand, between the fireplace and Hearthstone Lounge and turn right, there is an outdoor fireplace with chairs and benches. It's a great place to relax with a pizza from Naples or something from Whitewater. You can request a waitress from Hearthstone or bring a cocktail with you.
Stop by the Concierge desk in the lobby. They usually have something for the kids.
Also, call vacation planning and they can arrange autographed character pictures for you. They've always been complimentary in the past. |

| SuzieQ Fri 7/31/2009 9:31a | Just re-read the topic. nurselisa, White Water Snacks has great kids meals with PBJ sandwiches, etc. I always think WWS closes too early, so you might want to check the hours and put something in your fridge for the evening.
White Water is also one of the most reasonably priced places, IMHO. I often order the kids meals and can't finish them! |

I have never had the breakfast Burrito but it looks sooo good :) |

They've always been complimentary in the past." suzie Q What do you mean by this? They will have autographed charcter photos for the kids in the room? I love all the little tips. I was looking at the DTD map and it looked like if you were above the world of disney store there would be nothing for you to look at or hear from your balcony, so you all are really providing me with good info. YEAH LP!!! |
