My son would like to do some Pin Trading on this trip to disneyland. He has been twice before and has a few pins that he is not interested in "trading". How should we approach this? Should he buy a handful of pins when he first gets there that he likes but would be willing to "dispose" of? Who exactly is fair game to trade with? I have no experience with this and would like some advice or maybe direction towards an article to read up on.
Thanks

I know that any cast member with a lanyard is fair game, and there are even cast members that have a certain color of lanyard (not sure what it is) that only trade with kids. You should try the character warehouse by Disneyland(amsliquadation.com will tell you exactly where it is). They sell sometimes heavily discounted Disneyland merchandise including pins. He would just walk up to the cast member, look at their lanyard, pick a pin he likes and ask them to trade for whichever pin he wants to part with. Cast members have to trade any pin on their lanyard with any Disney pin you give them. Sorry, I ramble too much.

You can buy Starter trading packs that have a few pins in them that your son may be willing to trade. They are not too expensive.

You can also get great pins for trading packs from ebay - I've got 20 official Disney pins for around $20USD before. Make sure the description says that they're official Disney trading pins though!
