1	Disney_Binky Sun 8/2/2009 4:21p	Myself and my wonderful family are leaving for Disneyland on Friday. We are extremely excited because we haven't been there for 2 years. I had an accident a month ago and had to have foot surgery a week and a half ago. The bad news is, I'm in a giant pink cast. The good news is, well obviously I'm going to have to use a wheel chair :D No Lines YAY! My question is do all or most rides allow you to bring crutches on with you? Will I have to leave them at the exit? How does this work? If anyone could give me tips that would be great. As I am the usual skipping and frolicking type. I'm not use to having to sit most of the time....
2	Mickeysbestfan Sun 8/2/2009 4:53p	You should know some of the newer rides have lines that accomadate wheelchairs. I believe them to be, Screamin Toy Story Mania Monsters Buzz Lightyear Sun Wheel Soarin (I think) I would also check if you can use the wheelchair entrance with a fastpass. What I mean is wait at the wheelchair entrance while your family uses the fastpasses they you join them when they get on. I know during the summer some of the more popular rides have really long waits for the wheelchairs.

4	grlweatswchpstx Thu 8/6/2009 3:10a	You should speak with the Cast Member at the entrance for each attraction, they can always tell you the wheelchair-use rules for that attraction. There are also certain ones that only allow a certain number of assistance guests on at a time, so as said before you may have a longer wait than normal, ie Space Mountain. Also, I don't think any of the attractions allow crutches to be brought on with you, they usually are left with the wheelchair until you return.
5	Disney_Binky Thu 8/6/2009 6:35a	I don't plan on using the wheelchair the whole time, I prefer the crutches. So the crutches will have to come with me to enable me to walk.... So hopefully they will allow them on, or just put them at the exit. I'll ask when we first get there, Thanks for advice :)
6	amazedncal2 Thu 8/6/2009 7:41a	DB, you probably won't be able to make it down the winding steps on Nemo but there is an alternate "experience" which I found to be cute and VERY air conditioned :) Go to the entrance and the CM's will let you know what your options are. I've watched people with crutches and canes go into the ride (remember the cast members aren't allowed to help you) and then hand the crutches/cane to the CM. They hand them to you as you get out of the ride. Have fun!
