My group is planning on seeing the show on Dec 12, and I've never seen the show before. So I'm wondering how necessary the dinner package will be for getting a seat to see the show (doesn't really matter to us which show time we see). Any advice would be appreciated...

The dinner package is pretty necessary from my (albeit limited) experience. We tried to see Candlelight in early December three years ago. We arrived about 45 minutes before the show and the line was enormous. We joined the line but didn't even get near the theater for the show. A CM I spoke to said the only way to get a guaranteed seat is to get the dinner package.

Thanks for the tip, Nikki. Guess we'll just overpay for the dinner package!

If you do Tier 1 you pay about $5 over which for me is worth it not to stand in line so long.

We're booking Biergarten this wk-end for ourselves & our Orlando daughter. We did Garden Grill in '07 because it was one of few places left we hadn't been in EPCOT. We were disappointed to say it nicely.

We enjoy the food & the atmosphere @ the Biergarten. We'll get a show before the show. That's getting the biggest bang for your buck in my book.;)

I started a thread asking if anyone knew how it worked with the other tiers since none of the choices are buffets. I finally got a indisputable answer from an unnamed source.;) Every place except the buffets have a special menu which leads me to believe that you will most likely be paying more than $5 extra for your seating @ the Procession.

You didn't enjoy the Garden Grill, jkayjs? We've always had excellent meals there. What was amiss?
