| piratesNsharks Tue 8/18/2009 9:00p | Hello again my family,
I feel this topic may not be only important to me but others. So just off the top of your head, do you know which hotels offer a shuttle service, paid or free, don't care, to and from LAX. Last time I flew into L.A. I was 6 and there was a hojo shuttle back then. Your wisdom is appreciated... |

Gray Line operates the "Disneyland Express Airport Bus", which is a fee based system that the Walt Disney Travel Company uses and offers tickets at part of their packages for an additional fee.

Prime Time Shuttle and Super Shuttle are the two approved Shuttle Vans that service LAX for a fee that will deliver you to the Anaheim Resort area.

My preference is the Disneyland Express Bus, not a fan of Shared Shuttle Vans, too many bad experences. |

Supershuttle has been pretty good with only one bad experience and that was due to another passenger. I have had vans with 'weak' air conditioning, but my main complaint is that they pick me up for the airport sooner than I would like. I know, better early than late.
I have only used the bus and Supershuttle to/from John Wayne Airport. |

After taking both the shuttle and the airport bus and getting stuck being the last person dropped off, I now stick to taxis. They're fast and convenient, and in my opinion, worth the extra money. |

I recommend a taxi from Long Beach or John Wayne/Santa Ana airports, but can't justify the expense from LAX.
If you want a private vehicle, I would look into renting a Town Car, or a Private Shuttle Van.
The main benefit, a fixed rate that you know in advance, as compared to the taxi meter, which can go up, especially due to the "wait time" rate that kicks in when the taxi isn't moving, or moving very slowly. |

The problem we had with the shuttle was that it went around the terminals for about 45 minutes looking for other passengers before it finally left. The bus only makes one loop around the airport. |

Now we just rent a car...... |

| charming husband Wed 8/19/2009 11:24p | We prefer a shuttle. We book in advance-never cicled for 45 min. And last month with AAA discount it was 10 bucks a person from LAX to DL-plus tip. |
