I haven't seen any of these mentioned here yet.

Not sure what to make of all this. I like the sound of the British agent in Cars 2, but I'm not sure if a story centering on Mater might be too much.

I have no issues with Timothy Dalton in TS3. He's a real scenery eater and if he's not the villain he's wasted.

I also like the fact that Repunzel is being billed as a musical and the story idea sounds like it should be good fun.

All in all, not bad!!!

What amazes me is that it's late 2009, and Mandy Moore has just now -- September 2009 -- signed to do the voice of Rapunzel.

How fast can these animators work to voice, animate and complete this work by 2010?

Seems rushed.

I would think that doing the characters and synching the voices is one of the easier things to do with animation, as long as they have the foundation, and backgrounds done, they should be fine...

Besides, they have a ton of Marvel animators to use now..... I kidd.....

So, like my comments about Marvel, I'm completely off the mark here, huh?

Character animation is the 'easiest' part? I respectfully disagree.

It seems rushed to just now have the voice of your lead character. Wasn't Kristen Chenoweth the voice of Rapunzel 2 years ago? What have they been doing for the past 4 years -- color tests and story boarding?

I thought Glen Keane was trying to refine the CGI programs so they would move good enough for us animation junkies.

Until he was taken off the project.

The 'Glen Keane' event is another aspect of this movie, basil fan.

I'm just suggesting that if you're bringing in Mandy Moore as the lead voice of your lead character in September 2009, and your going to open your movie in December of 2010, you're really compressing the production of your movie.

But with some here it's like, 'no...no, not really...seems fine....somebody's throwing stuff.'

This is yet another one of those times that I just have to keep repeating to myself "The Emperor's New Groove came out OK ... The Emperor's New Groove came out OK ... The Emperor's New Groove came out OK ..."

I'm a bit more concerned about the late casting change than about redubbing the voice. Retakes of lines are done all the time, whereas changing the lead actress indicates that some very big decisions are being made very late in the game.

Mandy Moore, huh? Selena Gomez wasn't available, I take it? >:-)

(Come to think of it, Bolt came out OK too. I think I'll repeat that instead. It's shorter.)
